Affordable Luxuries is a family run business first established in the Inverclyde area in 1999. The company is run by husband and wife team, Tom & Helen McDonald. The showroom is run and organised by Helen with Tom overseeing the day to day running of all design, sales and project management areas of the business.

Affordable Luxuries opened its first showroom in Greenock in July 2004 making 2009 its 10th year in business. With nearly 20years experience in the home improvements industry we take a genuine pride in every project we do, which in turn results in stunning rooms, adding style and value to your home.

Although all of our designs have the much sought after wow factor, it is of utmost importance to us that every design we do is as practical to use as it is beautiful to look at. Our reputation speaks for itself and we work hard to satisfy and to ensure the future recommendations of our clients. Our reputation for excellence has been earned not merely through offering full project management from start to finish but also for the quality of the inspiring products we use. Our aim is to ensure that the project is completed with the minimum level of stress and disturbance to you and your family. We believe our success is down to our commitment of offering our customers unrivalled quality, service and value for money. We are so confident in the quality of the service we offer to our clients that we never ask for final payment until your project is complete.

Never in our 10 year history have we ever inflated prices in order to give the illusion of a discount. Tom McDonald (Managing Director) personally carries out your initial home survey to ensure that all your requirements are met during the design consultation. We offer a bespoke range of made to measure kitchen furniture, imported from Germany and a range of UK manufactured kitchens. Our German kitchen partner is Pronorm and our British kitchens are provided from our own Made4U range.

Affordable Luxuries is also a member of the Fair Trades Association – one of the UK’s largest, multi trade associations. We can provide insurance backed guarantees which cover deposits paid and future guarantee protection This gives you added peace of mind when taking the decision to commit to your new project.
